Heartstopper star Yasmin Finney joins Doctor Who

Following the incredible news that Ncuti Gatwa would become the next Doctor in Doctor Who and, the reveal that both David Tennant and Catherine Tate would be returning for anniversary celebrations, it’s now been revealed that breakout star Yasmin Finney of Heartstopper fame has also signed up to appear in the 2023 series.

The Manchester-born actress said that the casting had "made my life", and that if "eight-year-old Yasmin" had been told she would be a part of one of the biggest shows on the planet, "I would have never in a million years believer them".

She added: “"This show has a place in so many people's hearts, so to be seen as a trans actress by the legend himself, Russell [T. Davies, showrunner], has not only made my year, it's made my life.”

Sasha Banks and Naomi walk out of WWE Monday Night Raw

WWE Tag Team Champions, Sasha Banks and Naomi, walked out of WWE Monday Night Raw last night (May 16th, 2022), despite being scheduled to appear in the Main Event. The company released a statement which painted a picture of the two being unhappy with how they were being treated as Champions, as well as who they had been set to go up against.

The truth is likely a little blurred and written between the lines of that statement, however. Both Banks and Naomi have been vocal supporters of the female Superstars in the company, demanding that they are treated in the same way as their male counterparts and even being two of the women to lead the charge as part of the Women’s Revolution.

Since that point, WWE has at times, really dropped the ball when it comes to looking after the company’s female Superstars. The backstage tension has clearly reached new heights and so, it’s going to be interesting to see exactly what happens next when it comes to Sasha and Naomi’s position. We imagine they’ll be stripped of their titles at the very least, as they left them on the desk of John Laurinaitis…

Harry Styles opens up about insecurities surrounding going solo

Harry Styles has spoken about some of the pressures he felt when making the move from beloved member of a group, to a solo musician, crediting Billie Eilish as someone he looked to when searching for clarity about the whole situation.

Speaking with Zane Lowe, he explained: "I definitely had a really big moment, I think, when Billie Eilish kind of first blew up. I think being in the band, I'd always felt like... it was fun and exciting because we were young. And I had a moment, seeing her do this at such a young age, where I felt like, 'I'm not that young anymore.'"

He worried that he wouldn’t ‘remain exciting’, but says Eilish "totally broke [that] spell for me, in a way that I'm very grateful for."

With Bridgerton Season 3 will come a change that some may not be too happy about; the show will include even less sex than that which was featured in Season 2.

Despite the high level of sexual content that was woven throughout the series’ debut season, things were toned down a bit in Season 2, so that character development and a focus on the narrative being told could be given some more attention.

We now know that Season 3 will focus on Colin and Penelope’s story, skipping the third book in the original novel series, for now.

Jess Brownell, who stepped in as the new showrunner as Chris Van Dusen exited, told Variety: “I really feel like it’s Colin and Penelope’s time. Because we’ve been watching both of these actors on our screens since Season 1, we’ve already invested in them a little bit. We know who they are as people."
