Tulisa will answer her police bail in late October following her arrest on suspicion of supplying drugs.

The singer and former 'X Factor' judge - full name Tulisa Contostavlos - was exposed for allegedly facilitating the sale of £800 worth of cocaine by The Sun newspaper in June and she has now been given a date to return to police.

Tulisa and her friend, 35-year-old musician Mike GLC, were charged on June 4 after they went to a police station in central London by appointment. They were due to answer police bail today (29.07.13) but this date has been moved to later this year.

In a taped sting operation by The Sun, Tulisa allegedly admitted she could arrange for cocaine and cannabis - which she refers to as "white sweets" and "green sweets" - to be delivered to an undercover reporter.

She said: "Half my phone book sells it. Of course I can get it for you. Half the guys I know are drug dealers. One's a massive cocaine dealer. He's my best friend.

"We talk in lingo. Like we know what. I can't call him and go, 'Have you got any?' I'll say, 'Hi, have you got any sweets?' ... And I'm referring to what he knows is what. Like we have a whole lingo."

Meanwhile, it has been announced that Tulisa is releasing her debut novel.

Her fictional book 'Sky' will tell the story of a south London school girl called Sky Beradino who escapes her surroundings and achieves stardom through her acting talent.

The synopsis reads: "In 2005 a south London schoolgirl huddles cold and wet on the kerb. Her bruised eye swollen shut, her schoolbag dirty and torn. Sky Beradino dreams of coming out on top - just for once - and vows that no one will keep her down forever. In 2013, a talented young actress takes a deep breath before stepping out on stage. Glamorous, confident and beautiful, only the very closest to her know the price she has paid ... No matter what. Tulisa's debut novel is impossible to put down. And impossible to forget."

The story is seemingly semi-biographical as Tulisa endured a tough upbringing in north London with her mother suffering from bipolar disorder and schizoaffective disorder, while her father left home when she was 14.

She eventually found fame as part of hip-hop group N-Dubz with her cousin Dappy and ex-boyfriend Fazer.
