The 46-year-old fashion designer has revealed she can’t wait to see her eldest son Brooklyn, 21, get married to his fiancée Nicola, 25, as she insisted her entire family - including husband David Beckham and their other children, Romeo, 18, Cruz, 15, and nine-year-old Harper - “love” the actress.

She gushed during an appearance on UK TV show ‘Lorraine’ on Wednesday (09.12.20): "He's so happy - they are both so happy. [Nicola] is just wonderful.

“She's sweet, she's kind, she's such a lovely, warm, wonderful, wonderful woman. We couldn't have asked for Brooklyn to meet a more adorable, lovely lady. We are very happy. We love her. He's so happy.

“It's nice with everything that has gone on this year that Brooklyn has found his soulmate and the lady he wants to spend the rest of his life with, during this time there's been so much uncertainty and that everything felt a little bit sad. So we are very happy and very excited. What will I wear?”

The former Spice Girl singer’s comments come after it was recently reported Brooklyn and Nicola - who began dating last autumn and got engaged over the summer - want to make their wedding "family focused”.

Every member of Brooklyn’s family is thought to be involved in the ceremony, with his dad David being named master of the ceremonies, Victoria set to design Nicola’s dress, Harper acting as the chief bridesmaid, and both Romeo and Cruz being Brooklyn’s best men.

Meanwhile, Brooklyn also suggested he could be set to start a family of his own with Nicola soon, as he said he “can’t wait” to have kids with the blonde beauty whilst marking their first anniversary in October.

He wrote on social media: "happy 1 year anniversary baby. I'm the luckiest person to have you by my side x I can not wait to grow old with you and start a family with you. love you so much. (sic)”
