The Oxford Street Christmas lights were turned on yesterday.

Jessie J had the honour of pressing the big button alongside 'X Factor' winner James Arthur and rising star Conor Maynard.

The three also took to the stage to perform some of their hits to commemorate the event.

Facing her fear of heights to perform on the stage, Jessie J took to her Twitter account after the show and said: “I did it! I performed on a stage really high up! I faced my fear! Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who came out and sang with me and made it less scary!”

The lights have this year undergone a £1.5 million revamp, and feature three quarters of a million LED bulbs.
