To dream about tea suggests that you need to be patient for something in your waking hours.

Perhaps you are excited for someone to arrive or eager for an event to come around and it’s clouding your focus.

Try to accept that things will happen in their own time and you simply need to wait it out. By encouraging whatever it is to be premature will only spoil it in the long run.

Consider the phrase ‘tea for two’- perhaps the dream refers to a relationship you have in your waking hours. This is more likely if you were drinking tea with this person. You may be happy at the thought of settling down with a partner or generally feel content with the company you keep.

Tea is usually drunk during social situations and is often used as a precursor to conversation, so it’s possible the dream is telling you to spend more time with others. If you are unable to do this, perhaps you need to talk through your worries onto someone else.

If the tea was weak, perhaps you have been underwhelmed by something or someone lately. If this is the case, perhaps you need to distance yourself from this person or find an alternative way to spend your time if whatever you did wasn’t as impressive as you thought it might be.

The dream could be an indication that something is someone is ‘not your cup of tea’. Perhaps you have been fooling yourself into thinking that you are suited to something or someone that you quite simply aren’t. It may be time to leave this person or thing behind if you are not happy. There is no shame in admitting that you aren’t compatible.

Or perhaps you are struggling to say something you really feel because you’re worried about how people will react nor can’t find the right way to let it out. If you were trying to make coffee and something was making it harder- like no spoon, a broken kettle or no coffee- this could be an indicator that you are trying too hard to impress others and neglecting your own needs. Or it’s possible you have aspirations to do something but feel you lack to the tools to do it. Perhaps you feel you need more training or practice in something to help you move forward or the support of those around you if you think that’s lacking...
