Arrow Films is pleased to bring the UK its very first taste of Aussie Noir in the form of the Guy Pearce fronted 2-part film thriller Jack Irish - Bad Debts & Black Tide, which will be released on DVD on Monday 28th January 2013.
Adapted from the first two books of Peter Temple’s best selling series, Bad Debts & Black Tide tells the story of Jack Irish, a former criminal lawyer whose world imploded after the death of his wife.
Spectacularly portrayed by legendary Australian actor Guy Pearce (LA Confidential, Momento, The Kings Speech, Lawless), to the theme tune of Nick Cave and The Bad Seed’s 'Red Right Hand', Irish spends his days as a part-time private investigator, debt collector, apprentice cabinet maker, gambler and sometime lover - the complete man!
An expert in finding those who don’t want to be found, dead or alive, Jack helps out his mates while avoiding the past ..that is until the past finds him.
