John Sergeant has sensationally quit Strictly Come Dancing.
The star, who has quickly become one of the most popular dancers on the programme, has decided to hang up his dancing shoes after 10 weeks on the hit show.
Former Political journalist John, has faced harsh criticism from the judges about his dancing skills, but has become the nation's champion, after viewers kept voting the hilarious star to dance another week.
In a statement he said: "The trouble is that there is now a real danger that I might win the competition. Even for me that would be a joke too far."
His dancing partner Kristina Rihanoff, 31 has been praised for her patience and jokey spirit throughout the competition, but this latest news means that she too is out of the show.
