The Mean Girls star was rumored to have banned her dad from seeing her at the Betty Ford Clinic in Rancho Mirage, California, where she is undergoing court-ordered treatment for drug issues - but TMZ.com claims the father and daughter met up at the weekend in a bid to patch up their fractured relationship.
Sources tell the website Michael Lohan joined the troubled actress at the facility before stepping out for a shopping trip to a local street fair.
The pair is reportedly attempting to take a "whole new approach" to their relationship and Sunday's lengthy visit is said to have gone well - Lindsay is already planning a second meet-up with her dad.
