Lindsay Lohan’s father has found himself in hot water again and has ended up behind bars.
Michael Lohan was arrested at the weekend after trying to contact his ex-fiancee.
Lohan was arrested in New York state on Sunday after calling Erin Muller, according to TMZ.com.
Muller has a standing restraining order against him since April after he threatening suicide when Erin tried to break things off with him.
Lohan, was charged with criminal contempt of court and will have to keep his distance in the future.
His daughter Lindsay Lohan is currently away from the States and is in India filming a documentary for the BBC.
