The highly anticipated action-platformer - which comes from 'Sonic The Hedgehog' and 'NiGHTs' co-creators Yuji Naka and Naoto Ohshima - will be unveiled on January 28 before a full launch on March 26.

The game is set to be released on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch and PC, with players transported to the Balan Theatre where "memories and vista from the real-world mix with the things that people hold dear".

The upcoming demo - which will be available on all platforms - will feature two hours of play, either solo or local co-op.

Gamers will get the chance to play the opening acts of three worlds, with the full title's story unfolding across 12.

Each of these is formed from the worries of a different cast member, with over 80 wearable costumes - all with their own special abilities - adding to the fun.

In the demo, the first of the available worlds is a farm from the memories of a farmer whose field is hit by a storm.

Another is made from bicycle parts and drifting islands, and "born from the heart of Chang Haoyu and his love of the open sky".

And the third is a town - where a character once met a kitten - made up of floating books, candy pieces and buildings full of moving gears.
