The DC Comics anti-hero and Deadshot, played by Margot Robbie and Will Smith in the recent 'Suicide Squad' movie, are among the roster of playable fighters in the video game and Harley owns the trailer, taking on Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Supergirl.

Harley was part of the original 'Injustice: Gods Among Us' while Deadshot was previously only playable in the 'Injustice' mobile game.

They join a roster of characters including Aquaman, Atrocitus, Batman, Blue Beetle, Flash, Gorilla Grodd, Supergirl, Superman, and Wonder Woman in the game, which continues the story of 'Injustice: Gods Among Us'.

'Injustice 2' comes to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2017.

Meanwhile, it was previously revealed that Margot is set to star in and produce a 'Suicide Squad' spin-off movie.

The 26-year-old actress' character Harley Quinn will lead a cast of DC Comics' female heroes and villains in the new film.

Other characters from the comics who have been touted to appear in the all-female movie, include Batgirl and Birds of Prey.

According to The Hollywood Reporter: "Margot was the impetus for the project. When she got the part for the movie, she dove deep into the comics to learn as much as possible about the character. In the process, she fell for DC's female characters. She brought on the writer to help develop the project and brought it to Warners, which snapped it up."
