Christopher Kane has teamed up with Versace to create a new range of accessories. the Telegraph reports.

The hot British designer will design a collection of bags and shoes for Versace's re-launched younger line, Versace Versus. Donatella Versace is set to announce all the details at Milan Fashion Week this weekend.

It is not the first time the two labels have teamed up though. Kane first caught Donatella's eye when he was a student at Central Saint Martins and won the Lancôme Colour Award in 2005. He worked for Versace's Atelier Couture collection and was also a consultant on accessories.

Kane has just shown his autumn/winter collection at London Fashion Week which included nude chiffon pieces accentuated with black velvet stripes and lots of geometric prints.

Versace will show their autumn/winter collection in Milan on Monday evening.
