The 34-year-old Scottish fashion designer launched his namesake brand in 2006, which he started building in his room on Dalston Lane in London with his sister Tammy Kane, although he has since moved his office to be "15 minutes" away from his home.

Speaking about his home and business to ES magazine, he said: "East London. I've lived and worked in Dalston for almost 11 years.

"I started my business in a bedroom on Dalston Lane with my sister Tammy. My studio is a 15 minute walk from my house, which is handy. It's a very unpredictable part of London and has become super-trendy but it hasn't lost its realness."

The star has revealed he used to venture to Camden Town to browse through vintage stores for the best bargains, and it was the "best time" of his life because "everyone" was dancing to the music playing in their shops.

The entrepreneur said: "I'll always remember going to Camden and shopping in Rokit with 'Like a Prayer' by Madonna blasting. Everyone was dancing and having the best time."

And Christopher, who graduated from Central Saint Martins 11 years ago, is desperate to own the arts college building because he "treasures" the memories he has of his time being there.

When asked about the site he would love to buy the most, he said: "The old Central Saint Martins building. Being surrounded by the craziest and most creative people are memories I will always treasure."

Meanwhile, Christopher has revealed he collected the name cards from "every fancy dinner" he has ever attended because he "loves" the artistry of the handwritten titles on the place setting.

Speaking about his collectibles, the creative mastermind said: "Name cards from every fancy dinner I've been to. I love that they're handwritten. There have been some awkward moments and great laughs at each one."
