Guess Founder Marciano Sues Ex-Accountant
Fashion designer Georges Marciano has filed a lawsuit against his former accountant over claims his longtime money manager stole more than $2 million of his cash.
In a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday (28Jan08), Marciano - the founder of designer label Guess - alleges Gary Iskowitz "misappropriated, converted, embezzled, lost, wasted and/or diminished" his assets in the 20 years he was employed by Marciano.
The designer also claims he discovered "unauthorized withdrawals" of at least $1.4 million made in February 2006.
