Sofia Coppola has likened fashion designing to making movies after creating a range of shoes and bags for Louis Vuitton.
The director and actress told Harper's Bazaar: "It's not too different to making a movie. You have an idea of what you'd like to see, and you work with specialists on how to create that."
She added: "I had a really clear idea of what I wanted. A day bag I can put all my things in when I'm working, but not too big or heavy. Something practical that still looks chic."
Sofia created a black leather holdall with handles and an across the body strap along with a pair of red peep toe wedges and a gold ankle strap.
Sofia had herself and her friends in mind when designing the pieces, she said: "I think your style evolves over time. When you're younger it can always be disposable. As you get older, you get more refined.
"I think all your choices are a reflection of your taste. I made these for me and my friends."
