The 27-year-old English model wore a black Jenny Packham dress with embellished décolletage and shoulder detail for the big unveil at the Design Centre in London on Wednesday (25.05.16), but didn't move to pose like the blonde icon in case she ripped the designer garment.

Speaking at the star studded event about her tight fitting ensemble, the brunette beauty - whose parents are Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale and Pearl Lowe - said: "I'm wearing a Jenny Packham dress and it was based on Marilyn Monroe, so perfect for this occasion.

"[But] I can't lift my arms up to do the Marilyn pose because I'll rip my dress."

The exhibition showcases unseen pieces from the 1950s style icon's private items, including her wardrobe, jewellery and private letters from her life and work, which is open now until June 20.

The 'So Macho' hitmaker Sinitta also attended the opening night of the event.

Speaking about the late actress and model's impact on the fashion industry, she said: "I love Marilyn Monroe, she's a style icon."

Meanwhile Daisy - who was signed to Select modelling agency at the age of 15, but began posing in photo shoots at just two years old - is only a petite UK size 8 (US size 4) but because she is surrounded by "thin" stars, who don't have her enviable curves, she feels like she's plus-sized.

Speaking previously she said: "I'm still a size eight but I look like an elephant when you stick me next to all the other girls.

"I know that it sounds messed up but because they are so thin they look like clothes hangers. I had to figure out a way to work with my shape so I could really champion being a powerful woman."
