The 'Dance the Night' singer declared she felt "very strong" as she arrived at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday (04.02.24) in a silver metallic long-sleeved Courreges dress, which featured cutouts at the hips.
Dua - who wore her red hair down in loose waves - told 'Entertainment Tonight' of her dress: "I feel very excited to wear it. I feel very strong in it.
"It’s definitely a heavy, like, metal dress, so I was like, I feel very Joan of Arc."
The 26-year-old singer - who was accompanied to the ceremony by her dad, Dukagjin Lipa, rather than her rumoured boyfriend Callum Turner - offered a subtle nod to her character from the 'Barbie' movie, Mermaid Barbie, with her accessories, donning a fish necklace and matching bracelet from Tiffany and Co..
The 'Levitating' singer was up for Song of the Year for 'Dance the Night' - which went to xxxxx - and also lost out on the Best Song Written for Visual Media prise to Billie Eilish's 'What Was I Made For?' - and she's very proud of the track.
She said: "It goes back to that thing of where, as long as I feel like I'm having fun or making something that I'm really proud of and I'm in the moment, and then I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be, and I feel that way when we were making 'Dance the Night'. "
And Dua recalled having "such a great time in the studio" with co-writer Caroline Ailin and producers Andrew Wyatt and Mark Ronson.
She added: "It felt so good to be a part of such an incredible project. It felt so good to do it with my friends. That whole experience as a whole was really special.
"I'm happy that that's like way out into the world now and like had its own life and it's been great."
