Marc Jacobs and Robert Duffy will receive the Fashion Group International's Superstar Award on October 22.
The fashion collaborators will be the first duo to be honoured with the prize at the annual Night of Stars ceremony later this year following their multi-year partnership and success building the Marc Jacobs fashion brand.
Fashion Group International's president and CEO Margaret Hayes told WWD: "The enduring collaboration of Marc Jacobs and Robert Duffy is the foundation for one of the most influential and successful brands on the planet."
Margaret went on to praise the pair - who have been working together for nearly 30 years - for their "extraordinary body of work and a partnership that changed the course of fashion design".
Robert serves as Marc Jacobs' international president, while also working on a freelance basis for French fashion house Louis Vuitton.
In 2011, Robert insisted the colleagues were unlikely to split up any time soon following their three-decade partnership.
He said: "I don't think we'll ever go our separate ways. We've both done projects separately, of course, when we've been really broke or when we've been fired, but we just know each other so well now.
"We're definitely like a family. I'm the dad and Marc is the crazy mother! It's like, 'How is she today? How are her mood swings?' "
