The socialite - the sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton - teamed up with London-based designer Tabitha Webb to produce a limited-edition dress and scarf that will be sold to raise money for the British Heart Foundation and is due to take part in their 40th annual London to Brighton cycle ride for the cause.

The 31-year-old writer said: "The beauty of this dress is its versatility. It would be perfect for a wedding, a smart summer event, or dressed down with pumps and a denim jacket."

The cropped sleeved, mid-length dress features a floral pink pattern that is matched in the scarf.

She added: "It was a great experience collaborating with Tabitha Webb on the style and design of the two piece ... I am delighted that all the profits of the sales will go towards (BHF) life saving research into heart disease. Creating the limited edition pieces was a fun and creative way to fundraiser for their London to Brighton cycle challenge."

In an interview with You magazine, Pippa revealed that fitness and sport play a major role in her life and she particularly loves cycling.

She said: "I was a bit of a tomboy when I was little and have always loved cycling, so I spent a lot of my childhood on a mountain bike, riding on lanes and woody tracks. There's something very adventurous about heading off on a bike ride."
