Prada's show is arguably the most anticipated event of Milan Fashion Week, so high drama was apparently just what the designer ordered.

Models were dressed in 10-inch heels and most struggled to make it down the catwalk. Gone was the elegant composure and sophistication, as the uncertain looking girls wobbled down the catwalk.

The fate of the collection- which has been described as 'dull' by some, was sealed when some of the models tumbled over and had to be helped up by onlookers.

The scary fact is that these stupidly high-shoes will be making there way into high-street stores come next spring, and us, like the fashionistas that we are, will embrace them, fall over and wear them again and again, until there's a new trend to follow.

Sigh...
