The Oscars are always one of the biggest event in the red carpet calendar and this year was no exception. Gwyneth Paltrow looked elegant as always in a beautifully flattering peach chiffon twenties style fish tail dress. Kate Winslet showed off her gorgeous feminine curves in a slinky mint green number. And Cameron Diaz dazzled in a full length white off the shoulder gown.
Fashion Rocks for the Princes Trust saw the fashion and music worlds collide so inevitably there were also some hot celebrity looks about that night too. Kate Moss caused a stir when she dug out a vintage flapper dress from under her bed and had it re-created especially for the event and Joss Stone showed she can do sexy when she showed up in a hot pink cut out body con dress.
Lily Allen is definitely a star who has come of age in the fashion stakes this year. Gone are the days of ball gowns and trainers as Lily mixes with the industry's finest in classic Chanel and off the catwalk Versace.
Kate Bosworth is another new addition to the red carpet posse. Her simple yet uber cool style has been praised by all fashion lovers and everybody's keen to see what she steps out for 2008.
