Fergie

Fergie

The days are flying by this month as we continue our fab spring fashion guide, which gives you the rundown of all things stylish and chic for April.

With British summertime now officially having started, there's no better time to have a spring clean around your wardrobe and to adopt new fashion trends for the months ahead.

We've complied a list of all things hot for SS09, made up of trends, people, designers, and a few odd things thrown in here an there, for you to have a bit of a giggle over.

So let's continue our fabulous countdown with the letter F...

Fergie: Thanks to her new hair colour, Fergie is the new style sensation for the summer, as she ditches the bottle blonde for an altogether classier, more mature look. With more women dyeing their hair dark this season, look to Fergie's mahogany shade for inspiration.

Florals: Florals in spring, who would have thought?! Yes, we know they come back into fashion each year, but the truth is florals should always be in your wardrobe no matter what season we're in. Ditzy and pansy prints are big news for the summer months, so stock up now...

Fendi: They've earned a new kind of respect from us this season, largely thanks to hiring Beth Ditto to headline at their show in Paris, but also because they like to break the norm with their fashion. Last year Amy Winehouse, this year Beth Ditto, we approve!

Futuristic: We're going all space age this summer, to combat the neon influx and masses of retro looks that will undoubtedly hit the high-street in the upcoming months. Giles featured Pac-Man helmets on his catwalk, not to mention silver trousers, so it's pretty safe to say this is a trend to watch for the summer.

Franz Ferdinand: We're officially in love with their new song and with the band themselves, not least because they are starting to smarten up their style. Rumour has it that they've hired Danish designer, Christian Westphal to costume their worldwide tour and been papped by Karl Lagerfeld recently. Ooo, Get them!
