The limited edition Jordi designed Compeed pack
You’ve designed a limited edition packaging for Compeed blister plasters, what was your inspiration behind the design?
I took the inspiration from the modern woman, a woman who can wear sky-high heels all day; from work to the cocktail party in the evening. This is the type of woman that I reflect on all of the time in my work.
Why did you want to get involved with this and design this packaging?
I feel really close to the meaning of the concept of Compeed blister plasters because the women in my work wear these fantastic high heels all of the time, so I felt comfortable with the concept of the work.
Which are your favourite shoe designers?
For me, the very best is Manolo Blahnik, also Christian Louboutin. I also love the shoes from Prada. As well as Charlotte Olympia, she designs fantastic shoes. I really love Prada for myself and the shoes from Burberry Prorsum too. I love them.
Why should women wear high heels?
I love how a woman wearing high heels expresses a certain personality. They are strong, such confident beings.
What are you working on at the moment?
I am working on a series of Illustrations for Vogue Japan. I try not to think about what I’m going to be doing in the future because the day-by-day is always so thrilling that I don’t have the time to think about what lies ahead.
A fashion illustrator is a unique job, what sort of thing do you do?
You have to transform a dream of the woman.
What fashion collections do you look forward to seeing?
Always Burberry Prorsum, Christoper Kane, Mary Katrantzou, Peter Pilotto - I love him. And Tom Ford, of course.
How would you describe your personal style and which trend are you looking forward to trying this season?
My style is sophisticated but always with a twist, I like my look to be very unique. And during the Spring I can’t wait to try the classic sporty trend with bright colours.
