Rosie Fortescue can be seen in Made in Chelsea on E4

We have recently been lucky to catch up with Rosie Fortescue from Made in Chelsea. Down to earth and focussed, the London based graduate told us how she deals with being in the media spotlight , who her fashion icons are and gave us the low down on her fantastic new project with JustFab

A little bit of background, I didn't know you went to boarding school?

I was at Downe House from the age of 11 until I was 18.

You grew up in South West London, are you still based there today?

Yes but I have moved out from my parents house to Fulham with my twin sister.

You studied History of Art at Goldsmiths, how did you get into acting?

I was asked to do the show just as I was finishing my degree and starting my blog so I thought the show could be a great way to launch my blog with a huge amount of viewers of the show.

What is it like being on such a popular show, would you say it has changed your life?

I have stayed very grounded so for me it hasn't changed my life. We have been so fortunate though to experience new things.

Why do you think it has been such a success?

I think over time viewers have invested time into our lives and are now sort of living them with us.

Fashion is obviously a big part of your life, do you have your own stylist or choose your looks yourself?

I style myself.

Who are your style icons?

Olivia Palermo is so beautifully presented and Miranda Kerr is effortlessly chic.

If you are going out on a big night, what are you rules for getting ready?

Not to take too long! There's nothing worse than someone who takes hours to get ready.

What is JustFab all about and how are you involved?

I love working with JustFab. The shoes and handbags are on trend and a great price range. At £35 each the brand is accessible for most women. It's such fun picking my monthly picks and styling them on my blog. Everyone on the style panel has different styles so we work very well as a team!

Tell me about your blog, At Fashion Forte.

At the moment I am very into the Street Style section of my blog. It is all self styled and I love playing dress up! It encourages me to experiment more. Discovering new designers is also an exciting part of the blog for me.

How do you keep grounded given you are in the media spotlight?

I haven't given myself fully to the media. I have managed to keep my personal life private to a certain extent and fame isn't something that I am after.

What's next for you?

I recently launched my blog into an App which has been a huge focus since before Christmas. I also have a couple of very exciting collaborations coming up so watch this space!
