A trench coat is ideal for this time of year

The next couple of months in fashion can be a bit of a struggle, as we get ready to change seasons once again, what do you wear? Your winter wardrobe, or your new Spring one?

Well, here are the pieces that will help you transition into Spring and you’ll be able to wear forever.

Not only will these style items keep you looking fashionable over the next few months, but they’ll never date – so season after season you’re going to find yourself reaching for these items.

Which items will you be adding your wardrobe?

Trench coat

A trench coat is never going to go out of style, and they’re ideal for spring showers. Whether you chose something a little thicker in material or not they’ll keep you warm and dry. And of course they’re practical too if you chose one with a hood. Of course we all dream of owning a Burberry trench coat, but if that’s out of your budget, the high street has some amazing options too.

Blazer

No matter what the colour a blazer is going to be a go-to jacket for this time of year. Perfect for evenings out, they’ll keep you warm and pull your look together. Then as the weather starts to get warmer we’ll find ourselves reaching for this on a day-to-day basis. Update your wardrobe for spring with a bright or pastel shade, and of course white will always be chic. Plus, monochrome is still going to be a big fashion trend this year if the recent red carpets are anything to go by.

Cropped jeans

Baring our ankles in this weather, who would have thought it?! Well the great thing about cropped jeans is you can tuck them into your boots for now and then when spring comes lift them out and wear with ballet flats. Cropped jeans, or ankle grazer length also work well with heels creating a super lengthening effect.

Striped t-shirt

Stripes are never going to age, and evry spring we see the resurgence of the nautical trend so of course this print it a must. This top will work perfectly with your cropped jeans and trench coat for an easy-to-do Parisian look and you’ll find yourself wearing your stripes with skirts, shorts and under dresses too.
