About Time

About Time

The summer season may be in full swing but we are already looking ahead to some of the autumn movies that coming our way later this year.

About Time is one of the movies that we are excited about as Richard Curtis returns to the director's chair.

Curtis has penned movies such as Bridget Jones's Diary, Notting Hill and Four Weddings and a Funeral but this will only be his third feature film in the director's chair.

Love Actually and The Boat That Rocked were he previous projects; he he back for the first time since the latter back in 2009.

About Time sees him back in the director's chair as well as penning the screenplay as he brings together a fantasic cast.

Domhnall Gleeson is an actor who has been on the rise in the last couple of years and he is set to lead this movie.

Rachel McAdams, Bill Nighy, Tom Hollander and Vanessa Kirby are all also on board this romantic comedy.

At the age of 21, Tim Lake (Gleeson) discovers he can travel in time...

The night after another unsatisfactory New Year party, Tim's father (Nighy) tells his son that the men in his family have always had the ability to travel through time.

Tim can't change history, but he can change what happens and has happened in his own life---so he decides to make his world a better place...by getting a girlfriend. Sadly, that turns out not to be as easy as you might think.

Really great romantic comedies have been few and far between so far this year but About Time could well be about to change all of that.

This movie looks set to be moving, funny and charming as well as being packed with some fantastic acting talent.

So if you are looking for a great movie about love to check out this autumn then look no further than About Time as it promises to be another Curtis classic.

About Time is released 6th September.
