Ender's Game

Ender's Game

Ender's Game will be hitting the big screen at the end of October, and it is set to be another sci-fi film not to be missed.

2013 has been a great year for this genre of film and there are a couple of real gems on the horizon; Ender's Game being one of them.

Ender's Game sees Gavin Hood back in the director's chair as Orson Scott Card's novel is adapted for the big screen.

Machinima has unveiled the first TV spot for the film and we have it for you to check out:

Asa Butterfield will return to the big screen for the first time since the success of Hugo to take on the central role of Ender Wiggin.

He is surrounded by a cast that is a mix of upcoming stars and well established actors as the likes of Harrison Ford, Ben Kingsley, Viola Davis, Hailee Steinfeld and Abagail Breslin are all also on board.

Gavin Hood has brought us movies like Tsotsi and Rendition in recent years, but this is his first movie outing since X-Men Origins: Wolverine back in 2009.

His writing skills are also on show with this project as he has adapted the much loved novel into a screenplay.

The movie follows gifted child Ender Wiggin who, seventy years after an alien war, is set to a military school in space to prepare for a future invasion.

Ender's Game is one of the movies that I have been looking forward to all year as it is set to be an epic sci-fi experience.

Ender's Game is released 25th October.
