Spaniards Prefer Hollywood Films.... Spaniards would prefer to watch Hollywood movies than films made in Spain, according to a revealing new survey.Almost 60 per cent of Spanish film fans polled by media group Sigma Dos confessed they'd turn their backs on movies by homegrown directors Pedro Almodovar and Bigas Luna if a blockbuster U.S. film was showing at their local cinema.Spanish culture authorities are attempting to lure filmgoers to see locally made and funded films by creating a new law, which will force all cinema bosses to make sure at least one European film is showing at their theatre for every three U.S. movies.
