Lenny Kravitz has admitted that he is excited to have landed a role in the big screen adaptation of Hunger Games.
The musician turned actor is set to star alongside Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson in the Gary Ross directed movie.
Speaking to Rolling Stone the singer said: "I'm really excited to be playing Cinna. Reading the book, I'm seeing everything - the Capitol, the arena, all this stuff.
"This world is going to be incredible."
This is only a second acting role for Kravitz, who took on the role of Nurse John in the critically acclaimed Precious back in 2009.
And while he is enjoying the acting he doesn't want to take on too many projects.
"I want to do the right things. Precious was a great way to start, really low-key, and now this. We'll see where it goes from here."
