Prince of Persia: The Sands Of Time

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time has topped the Australian box office.

The Mike Newell directed picture is yet another movie to have been inspired by a popular computer game but has struggled with the critics since it's release.

While it has failed to reach the number one spot in both the U.S. and UK the film, which stars Jake Gyllenhaal, comfortably toppled Robin Hood  to snatch the top spot.
