Rooney Mara has yet to watch her breakthrough performance in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo - because she's convinced she won't enjoy the experience.
The Social Network star won the coveted role of Lisbeth Salander in director David Fincher's remake and he keeps trying to persuade her to sit through a screening with him.
But Mara fears the sight of herself nude in the film and one graphic, pivotal rape scene will be a huge turn-off for her.
She tells Entertainment Weekly magazine, "I keep turning him (Fincher) down. I'm just not ready (to) watch. I don't think I'm really going to enjoy the experience."
Mara stars alongside Daniel Craig, who takes on the role of Mikael Blomkvist in the movie, while Stellan Skarsgard and Christopher Plummer are also on teh cast list.
Mara's next project is Lawless, which is directed by Terrence Malick and stars Ryan Gosling and Christian Bale.
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is released 26th December.
