Shia LaBeouf has described director Michael Bay as being like a brother.
His comments come just days after he tole an American newspaper that the director's relationship with Megan Fox was 'awkward'.
But LaBeouf insists that he was not being malicious to Bay in anyway - going on to say that he was his favourite director that he has ever worked with,
Speaking to MTV the actor said: "I love Mike; we're like brothers," he said. "And we have our bickering in public sometimes, but I love Michael.
"And he's still the favourite director I've ever worked for, and I would work with him again, and I'd do anything for him.
"But no way was anything I was trying to say in malice or trying to attack Michael.
The pair have teamed up once again for Transformers: Dark Of The Moon, the third film in the very successful Transformers franchise.
