The Dark Knight's reign at the top of the UK box office continues for a second week as it grossed a further £6.7 million. The Dark Knight is well on it's way to being the biggest grossing movie of the year so far as it has almost hit the $600m mark at the global box office.ABBA musical Mamma Mia, starring Meryl Streep, held onto the second spot as it grossed a further £3 million and there was no change at number three either as Wall-E continued it's success.Despite entering the chart at number four this will be seen as a disappointment for the big screen adaptation of X-Files as I Want to believe failed to break the £1 million barrier struggling here and in America with the tough summer competition.Brit flick Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging dropped just one place from four to round off the top five.Animation Space Chimps was another new entry at number seven and at eight was the new movie from Mike Myers The Love Guru, which will also be considered another of the summer's disappointments.1. The Dark Knight - £6.7m
