Directed by Gore Verbinski (The Ring, The Lone Ranger) and written by Justin Haythe (Revolutionary Road, The Lone Ranger), A Cure for Wellness is a brand new psychological thriller starring Jason Isaacs, Dane DeHaan, Mia Goth and Adrian Schiller, and a new clip for the film has been revealed ahead of official release later this month.
In it we see various patients at the mysterious wellness center that has been teased to-date, all utilising hydrotherapy in a bid to cure whatever ailments they may be suffering from. In the final few moments of the clip however, darkness seems to take hold as supernatural forces and evil visions take hold.
The official synopsis for the film reads: “An ambitious young executive is sent to retrieve his company’s CEO from an idyllic but mysterious ‘wellness center’ at a remote location in the Swiss Alps. He soon suspects that the spa’s miraculous treatments are not what they seem. When he begins to unravel its terrifying secrets, his sanity is tested, as he finds himself diagnosed with the same curious illness that keeps all the guests her longing for the cure.”
A Cure for Wellness comes to UK cinemas on February 24.
