Anthony Mackie says that the relationship between Captain America and Falcon is not like Batman and Robin.
Mackie takes on the role of the Falcon in Captain America: The Winter Solider and is one of the new additions to the franchise.
And while the relationship between the two characters has been compared to Batman and Robin, Mackie believes it is completely different.
Speaking to MTV the actor said: "It’s interesting because a lot of people equate it to Batman and Robin, but the reality of it is it’s more of a working relationship, a respect relationship as opposed to a leader and follower."
The movie will see Chris Evans return to the role of Captain America, while Scarlett Johansson is also back as Black Widow.
Anthony Russo and Joe Russo are in the director's chair this time around in what will be the second stand alone film for this character.
2013 has been a busy year for the actor with Pain & Gain and Runner Runner having hit the big screen; The Fifth Estate is also on the horizon.
The actor has also completed work on A Many Splintered Thing and is currently filming Shelter.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is released 2nd May 2014.
