There's less than a fortnight to go until Spectre hits the big screen and it is a movie that we really can't wait for. Just to whet our appetite even more, a brand new Imax poster for the film has been released.

Spectre

I love the new artwork and it really does channel the Day of the Dead scenes that we are going to see right at the beginning of the film. Daniel Craig takes centre stage and is decked out in a customary skull mask.

Spectre is set to be the fourth time that Craig has taken on the role of Bond and I hope that he does stay one for one more movie as he has just been terrific as 007 over the last decade.

The movie sees Craig reunite with filmmaker Sam Mendes for their second Bond film together and their third movie collaboration; they first worked together on The Road to Perdition before Mendes directed Skyfall back in 2012.

A terrific cast has been assembled for the film as Craig is joined by Christoph Waltz, Lea Seydoux, Monica Bellucci, Dave Bautista, and Andrew Scott, as well as the familiar faces of Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, and Naomie Harris.

A cryptic message from the past sends James Bond on a rogue mission to Mexico City and eventually Rome, where he meets Lucia Sciarra (Bellucci), the beautiful and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal. Bond infiltrates a secret meeting and uncovers the existence of the sinister organization known as SPECTRE.

Meanwhile back in London, Max Denbigh (Scott), the new head of the Centre for National Security, questions Bond's actions and challenges the relevance of MI6, led by M (Fiennes). Bond covertly enlists Moneypenny (Harris) and Q (Whishaw) to help him seek out Madeleine Swann (Seydoux), the daughter of his old nemesis Mr White (Jesper Christensen), who may hold the clue to untangling the web of SPECTRE. As the daughter of an assassin, she understands Bond in a way most others cannot.

Spectre is set to be one of the biggest movies of the year but can it follow in Skyfall's footsteps and break through the $1 billion barrier?

Spectre is released 26th October.
