Chris Cooper has hinted that there will be an 'extremely odd' introduction to Norman Osborn in The Amazing Spider Man 2.
Cooper will take on the role of Norman Osborn in the second of the rebooted Spider Man movies. It will be the first time that we have see this character in the Marc Webb directed series.
Speaking to MTV News the actor said: "You'll see an extremely odd introduction, which apparently will lead to something more."
The Amazing Spider Man 2 is already one of the most anticipated blockbusters of 2014, as Cooper is just one of the new faces on the cast list.
Jamie Foxx. Paul Giamatti, Dane DeHaan and Felicity Jones will all join Andrew Garfield - who is reprising the role of Peter Parker.
The Amazing Spider Man franchise hit the big screen for the first time last year and enjoyed huge success - it went on to gross in excess of $752 million at the global box office.
Before we see Cooper in The Amazing Spider Man 2, he will be part of the impressive ensemble cast of August: Osage County.
Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Benedict Cumberbatch and Ewan McGregor are just some of the actors also involved in the big screen adaptation of the Tracy Letts play.
The Amazing Spider Man 2 is released 18th April 2014.
