Karen Gillan has landed a role in new film In A Valley of Violence.
In A Valley of Violence is set to be a revenge Western that sees Ti West return to the director's chair.
Gillan is the latest name to be added to the cast list, as the movie will also star Ethan Hawke, John Travolta and Taissa Farmiga.
Gillan and Farmiga play sisters who run a hotel in a small town in the 1890s and they're caught in Hawke's mission to seek vengeance for his murdered best friend.
West is best known for directing the likes of The House of the Devil and The Innkeepers, but this will be his first film since The Sacrament.
As for Gillan, she has seen her star rocket since leaving the role of Amy Pond in Doctor Who, as she has starred in some big movie projects.
She has also already enjoyed box office success in the U.S. with horror film Oculus - which will be released in the UK next month.
Gillan is also set to take on the role of Nebula in the highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy: the latest Marvel movie.
She has also completed work on The List and has landed the role of Eliza in new TV series Selfie.
