Eternals trailer has been released

The trailer for upcoming Marvel movie, Eternals, has broken the internet it seems, as it reached 77 million views within 24 hours of its release; making it the most popular Marvel trailer during lockdown.

Fans, as expected, have a mountain of questions about the recent trailer, including why the group didn’t get involved with Thanos (Josh Brolin) and his plan to wipe out half the universe. However, we will likely get some answers when the movie is released.

We see the star-studded cast, including Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, and Richard Madden in full costume and they look brilliant; Game of Thrones star Kit Harrington will also be joining the ensemble, but as a human.

With an exceptional cast and a continuation of Marvel’s witty humour, Eternals looks as though it will be a fantastic experience.

The movie will be in cinemas November, 2021.

Joker 2 reportedly being written by original film’s director

Joker (2019) was a sensational cinematic experience; Joaquin Phoenix’s Arthur Fleck was a haunting version of DC’s Joker.

The film followed Fleck as the trauma and humiliation of his life seeps deeper into him, causing him to fight back in unimaginable ways. Now, there are discussions of a sequel that will supposedly be written by Todd Phillips, director of Joker.

The fact that this movie takes place outside the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) meant that Phillips could really play with the character and not have to stick to certain laws regarding The Joker.

Fleck met with Bruce Wayne (Brett Cullen) in the first film, so we wonder if that will amount to anything in the sequel; there’s lots Phillips can do with Joker 2, and we are more than excited to see what he does with Fleck next.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been cast as Kraven the Hunter

With Marvel bringing about the multiverse, many questions have been raised in regard to casting of both old characters and new ones. Recently, fans have been shocked with the news that Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been cast in his second MCU role.

Taylor-Johnson played Pietro Maximoff, aka Quicksilver, in Avengers: Age of Ultron but was killed off at the end. However, he has now been cast in Marvel-Sony spinoff movie, Kraven the Hunter.

Kraven is said to be the new Spider-Man villain, after heavy rumours say that he will be the main bad guy in Spider-Man: No Way Home; this suggests that Taylor-Johnson’s character will be considered part of the main MCU storyline after his solo adventure.

Kraven the Hunter is set to hit cinemas on January 13th, 2023; hopefully we’ll get some answers then!

John Wick 4 casts Rina Sawayama alongside Keanu Reeves

Keanu Reeves is arguably one of the most-loved actors in the world; his violent portrayal of John Wick is pretty much the opposite of the actor’s positive demeanour.

Wick first appeared on the big screen in 2014, and has been a popular character ever since. There are currently three films in the John Wick franchise, the last being released in 2019. Now, a fourth one is on the way.

British-Japanese pop star Rina Sawayama has joined the cast of John Wick 4. As an aspiring actress, Sawayama’s role in this upcoming flick should definitely gain her some credit. While nothing is known about the plot or the singer’s role as of yet, we will no doubt be getting sizable bits of information in the coming months.

The movie has no release date at the moment, but filming is apparently set to begin this June (2021), and will be shooting scenes in Paris, Berlin, New York, and Japan.

Chad Michael Murray will be playing Ted Bundy in new thriller, American Boogeyman

Star of One Tree Hill, Chad Murray, is set to play the American serial killer Ted Bundy in new thriller from Voltage Pictures.

Despite the recent movie about Bundy, titled Extremely Wicked: Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019) starring Zac Efron, it seems we will be getting another feature about the killer. American Boogeyman is set to be a little different, as it will reportedly focus slightly more on the detective and FBI profiler involved in the manhunt for Bundy.

Little else is know about the film at the moment, but if you know who Bundy was and you’ve seen Efron’s version of the serial killer, you might have an idea as to what American Boogeyman has to offer.

The movie will hit US cinemas on August 16th.
