Mortdecai

This is Depp's second movie this January as he reunites with director David Koepp, with whom he first worked with on Secret Window back in 2004.

Depp takes on the title character of Charlie Mortdecai in the film, and takes centre stage in the brand new clip from the film, which his set to be released on Friday:

A terrific cast has been assembled around Depp, as Gwyneth Paltrow, Ewan McGregor, Paul Bettany, Olivia Munn, and Jeff Goldblum are all also on board.

Juggling some angry Russians, the British MI5, his impossibly leggy wife and an international terrorist, debonair art dealer and part time rogue Charlie Mortdecai (Depp) must traverse the globe armed only with his good looks and special charm in a race to recover a stolen painting rumoured to contain the code to a lost bank account filled with Nazi gold.

It has already been a busy few weeks for Depp, with the release and success of Into The Woods, but he has also completed work on London Fields, Yoga Hosers and gangster movie Black Mass. Depp is set to take on the role of Whitey Bulger in the film, alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, Joel Edgerton, Sienna Miller, and Dakota Fanning. The movie sees Scott Cooper back in the director's chair.

Depp is currently working on Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass - in which he will reprise the role of the Mad Hatter - and he will be back as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

Mortdecai is released 23rd January.
