Some incredible films are headed to Netflix in March 2022 / Picture Credits: Netflix

A new month is on the horizon and with it will come the release of a bunch of films for fresh eyes, from all types of genres, released onto the world’s most popular streaming service, Netflix.

Whether you’re looking for a thriller, heartwarming family-friendly flick or, something else altogether, there’s something here for everybody. Here are the new Netflix movies we’re recommending you take a look at in March 2022…

Against the Ice - Released March 2nd, 2022

This true story of friendship and love, as well as the power of companionship, will follow two men who succeed in finding proof that Greenland is one island. In doing so however, they'll have to battle extreme conditions on an expedition like no other, risking their lives to make history in a vicious and unbelievable fight for survival.

Against the Ice sees the pair pushed to their limits, left wondering whether they will have ti fight not only the freezing cold and hunger, but one another, in a mission that changes how the world views Greenland forever.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau stars opposite Joe Cole, with Charles Dance and Heida Reed also starring, under the direction of Peter Flinth.

The Weekend Away - Released March 3rd, 2022

Leighton Meester leads the cast of new thriller The Weekend Away, which starts out with a compelling party vibe before turning into a living nightmare for our lead character.

Based on the best-selling novel of the same name, audiences will be left wondering exactly who killed Kate (Christina Wolfe) in a mystery packed full of twists and turns, that will grip viewers by the throat right up until the last minute.

The film is directed by Kim Farrant from a screenplay by Sarah Alderson (who also wrote the original book), and also stars Ziad Bakri and Luke Norris.

The Adam Project - Released March 11th, 2022

Exploring the furthest reaches of the galaxy is something that has been explored often in film, and whilst space and sci-fi themes run deeply through The Adam Project, it appears to be one of the most unique offerings the genre has ever seen.

Adam Reed (Ryan Reynolds) arrives on Earth, meeting his younger self and hoping to use time travel to ensure that the planet doesn't end in chaos and destruction.

Shawn Levy serves as director on the film, which was written by Jonathan Tropper, T.S. Nowlin and Jennifer Flackett. Reynolds stars alongside the likes of Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Garner and Walker Scobell.

Rescued by Ruby - Released March 17th, 2022

Fans of Grant Gustin will be excited to see him in the role of state trooper Dan, in Rescued by Ruby, who has dreams of joining the K-9 Search & Rescue team but isn't being given the chance.

Brought together by fate with shelter dog Ruby - who has her own dreams of finding a loving home - their unshakable bond sees them come together to face their toughest challenge ever.

Based on a true story, the film is directed by Katt Shea from a screenplay by writer Karen Janszen. Scott Wolf and Kaylah Zander also star.

Windfall - Released March 18th, 2022

Lily Collins and Jesse Plemons lead the cast of this Hitchcockian thriller, taking up the roles of a young couple who arrive at their vacation home, only to quickly realise that it's being robbed.

Owned by a tech billionaire, the vacation spot is a worthy heist for a lone burglar (played by Jason Segel), but when the arrogant mogul and his wife turn up for a last-minute getaway, things go south.

Directed by Charlie McDowell, the screenplay comes from Justin Lader and Andrew Kevin Walker.
