It has already been a busy year for Chris Pine and he is set to return to the big screen this September with Hell or High Water.
Hell or High Water marks the return of David Mackenzie to the director's chair in what is his first feature film since the critically acclaimed Starred Up back in 2013.
Taylor Sheridan is also on board the project having penned the screenplay - Sheridan was behind the script of Sicario, which was released last year.
Hell or High Water is a role for Pine to really get his teeth into and you can see him in action in this terrific new trailer. Take a look:
Ben Foster and Oscar-winner Jeff Bridges are also on board and I really cannot wait to see these three very talented actors share the screen together.
Hell or High Water is a heist thriller but it is set to be a great human drama as well. I am looking forward to seeing Pine, Foster and Bridges get under the cast of these interesting characters.
A story about the collision of the old and new West, two brothers -- Toby (Pine), a straight-living, divorced father trying to make a better life for his son; and Tanner (Foster), a short-tempered ex-con with a loose trigger finger -- come together to rob branch after branch of the bank that is foreclosing on their family land.
The hold-ups are part of a last-ditch scheme to take back a future that powerful forces beyond their control have stolen from under their feet. Vengeance seems to be theirs until they find themselves in the crosshairs of a relentless, foul-mouthed Texas Ranger (Bridges) looking for one last triumph on the eve of his retirement.
As the brothers plot a final bank heist to complete their plan, a showdown looms at the crossroads where the last honest law man and a pair of brothers with nothing to live for except family collide.
Hell or High Water is released 9th September.
