It's been a long time between drinks for Doves, four years in fact since their last broadcast ‘Some Cities’ flew to the top of the charts. Some feared they had flown the nest permanently.

Doves

Thankfully, that was never going to be the case and when it came to light 2 weeks ago that they are to release their 4th studio album ‘Kingdom of Rust’ (April 6 on Heavenly Recordings) there has been a palpable sigh of relief from music lovers across the country and round the world.

Now, throughout April and May Jimi, Andy and Jez are hitting the road to perform up and down Great Britain and Ireland to ‘Kingdom Of Rust’ in what is there largest tour in over 4 years.

Doves last tour was in 2005, since then they have only a played a handful of shows in the UK. When it was announced that they would embark on mini tour in March, anticipation reached fever pitch and the dates sold out within the hour!
