Killswitch Engage

Killswitch Engage

An explosive, in-your-face affair, the Rockstar Energy Drink Taste Of Chaos tour features today’s biggest and on-the-verge of stardom hard rock and metal bands. Blaring, boisterous, and brutal, this year’s tour will be no different.

Past performers have included a who’s who of this decade’s most popular rock bands including My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Rise Against, Deftones, Killswitch Engage, 30 Seconds To Mars, The Used, Gallows, Atreyu, and over three hundred more. Set up by Warped tour’s Kevin Lyman and his co-founders in 2002, the Taste of Chaos tour became international in 2005.

Killswitch Engage are thrilled to confirm they will be headlining 2009’s UK installment of the tour. Six shows are planned in Nov/Dec with In Flames locked in as special guests and additional guests to be announced at a later date.

Kerrang! cover stars Killswitch Engage recently released their 5th studio album – charting at their highest position to date in the UK with their biggest week one sales. This year the band have toured the US on the Music As A Weapon tour with Disturbed and Lacuna Coil and are now on the Mayhem US tour alongside Slayer, Marilyn Manson, Trivium, and Bullet For My Valentine.

You may have caught their impressive Main Stage set at the Download Festival here in June. Singer Howard Jones has this to say… "A new record gives us another chance to show you all a good time at a club near you! Yes… we are back on the Taste of Chaos tour, only this time with our friends In Flames. The bands will bring the music; we want all our UK friends and fans to bring the energy!  Let's make this Taste Of Chaos tour one to remember! Don't forget to take a daily multivitamin.”

Joining them on the tour will be Swedish melodic metallers In Flames, who are stoked to be able to return to the UK after being forced to postpone their last run of shows. They commented, ”Since we had to cancel our last tour we are VERY happy to announce that we're coming back to the UK in November. These shows are possibly the last ones in the UK for a while, so make sure you come to check us out and all the other great bands on this year’s Taste of Chaos!”
