Kendal CallingKendal Calling have announced their fancy dress theme for this year, as the festival transforms into an alien world, bringing outer space to the Lake District, and inviting attendees to dress in their best space regalia on the Saturday.
Not only will bands deliver some stellar performances over the 3 days and nights of fun in the fields, but the Calling Out tent can see the festival-goers watch some of the greatest space movies of all time once the musicians have gone home.
Another world record will be attempted as planners hope to break the record for the world's largest moonwalk.

The festival takes place from Friday August 1 to Sunday August 3 at Lowther Deer Park, Hackthorpe, The Lake District.
