Lil Wayne arrested
Rapper Lil Wayne was arrested in Arizona on Tuesday for possession of dangerous drugs, narcotics and drug paraphernalia by DEA agents. The rapper who is set to release his Carter III album later this year was arrested twice last year, and has been named in numerous law suits stemming from two students being injured at a concert at Morgan State University after the rapper threw money from the stage.To add insult to injury while waiting in jail on the recent charges, Lil Wayne born Dwayne Carter was served papers in regards to non payment of a $91,000 bill for repairs and alterations made to his Bentley back in 1999.
Diddy changes again
Hip-Hop mogul Sean Combs is suffering from an identity crisis it would appear. The rapper who has changed his names numerous times in he past looks to be reinventing himself once again. Now the New York born Combs wants to be referred to as Sean John, which is actually his name and is also the line of clothes he has become globally recognized for.
Busta Rhymes
After an on going battle with various charges, Busta Rhymes pleaded guilty in court on Tuesday and was fined $750 for a DUI and had his licence revoked for six months after driving on a suspended license last year. He was also sentenced to three years probation for charges of assault also stemming from the same year.
Brooklyn Rapper shot in head
Def Jam/Rocafella rapper Uncle Murda was shot in Brooklyn on Tuesday night but fortunately only suffered a minor graze to the head. Murda born Leonard Grant was sitting in a parked car when he was shot and has refused to help police with their inquiries.
The rapper was signed to Def Jam after a string of successful mix tapes and is currently said to be the saving grace of the New York City rap scene.
