Lil Wayne making movies

Looks like Lil Wayne is looking to break into Hollywood like many of his rapping contemporaries.

The Cash money Millionaire has allegedly been shooting a movie in his home city New Orleans with label boss Baby Williams, who Wayne considers his father.

The movie titled Like Father Like Son will be released around the same time as the album the two are working on of the same title.

Lil Wayne also cancelled more shows this week after leaving a string of disappointed fans throughout New York and Boston last weekend. The reasons for the canceled shows are due to insufficient provisions for the rapper and his entourage it is being reported.

Private Service for Hudson Family

The family of Jennifer Hudson will congregate on Monday in a private memorial service for Jennifer’s mother, brother and nephew who were all killed last week.

The body of Julian King was found after a weekend search throughout Chicago in an SUV which was stolen from the Hudson household on the Southside of Chicago where Hudson’s mother and brother were shot and killed on Friday of last week.

The prime suspect in the case, the estranged husband of Jennifer’s younger sister William Balfour refused to take a polygraph test yesterday.

The murder weapon was also uncovered yesterday and Chicago Police are waiting on the results from forensics on the weapon.

Busta pushed back

Rapper Busta Rhymes won’t be in stores for Christmas with his eighth studio album it was announced yesterday.

Busta who is now signed to Universal Motown was expected to hit shelves in December with his Back on my Bull**it project but will now be hitting stores in March.

This push back is nothing new in the music business with albums being pushed back over and over again to encourage more interest in a project.

Three tracks from the album have already been ‘leaked’ but Busta assures fans ‘there’s plenty more to come.’
