DMX Show canceled
Troubled rapper DMX who is currently out on the road promoting his new album The Definition of X: The Pick of the Litter was shut down in Rockford, Illinois due to security issues.

Club Elixur where the show was to take place on June 22nd had failed to provide 'adequate security' for its patrons and once realizing that fact opted to cancel the event.

Not to disappoint his fans DMX, born Earl Simmons is expected to perform the date at another venue in Chicago. Cashville Records is the New Unit.." There have been numerous reports in the break down in G Unit as album sales have failed to be as successful for majority of the artists on the roster. Label head 50 Cent has implied in recent interviews that he wouldn't hesitate in dropping artists from the imprint if he saw fit.

Trouble in G Unit
Young Buck allegedly implied that he is not as supportive of his G-Unit family as he once was. The Tennessee rapper spoke out at a recent radio birthday celebratory event in Atlanta, Georgia.

Jay Z makes Forbes Top Ten
Rapper Jay Z made it to the Forbes Top Ten Celebrity Earners. Ranked number 9 after the successful sale of his Rocawear clothing line earlier this year, Jay Z beat fellow Hip-Hop entrepreneurs Sean Combs and 50 Cent.

The rapper however might be ranked below fellow rapper 50 Cent as his stake in Glaceau's Vitamin Water has earned him a profit of an unspecified amount, but speculated at being 100 million plus after the company was bought by Coca Cola. This list was complied before this deal was announced.

Jay Z born Shawn Carter sold the clothing label he started with former business partners Damon Dash and Kareem Burke for a staggering $240 million cash deal in March of this month to the Iconix Brand Group
