In Monday's Daily rap Pimp C's funeral to take place this week, Fabolous linked to string of robberies, Bow Wow rushed to hospital and Kanye West to team up with Madonna.Pimp C Funeral to happen this weekChad Butler one half of the rap duo UGK will be buried this week in his home town of Port Arthur, Texas. Butler known as Pimp C was found dead in an LA hotel room last week after his family were concerned that he hadn't returned home after performing in LA. The coroners report has determined his death to be due to natural causes.The venue for the funeral will be the Bob Bowers Civic Center which seats 2000 people. Attending the funeral will be rappers from all over the country and of course his long time friend and partner Bun B.Fabolous in deep waterRapper Fabolous who lost his long time friend in a altercation outside a Manhattan night club has been linked to a string of celebrity robberies according the the NYPD. Members of Fabolous' Street Family Entertainment who grew up with the rapper have been linked to a spate of robberies where celebrities have been robbed of jewelry worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.
The reason behind the stabbing of Shamel McKinney is speculated to be that he had tried to steal a chain from his alleged murderer. Fabolous was shot in the leg last year outside Sean Comb;s Justin's eatery in New York City after basketball player Sebastian Telfair was robbed of his chain. The NYPD is reported to have surveillance footage of the attack on Telfair and before Fabolous was shot in the leg.
The alleged crew is supposed to include 20 members who work in and around the wealthy Chelsea and Flatiron Districts in Manhattan. Fabolous denies any involvement or any knowledge of such a gang.
Bow Wow rushed to Hospital
Rapper Bow Wow was rushed to hospital late last week after headlining a show with R&B sensation Chris Brown. The Doctors diagnosed the rapper with exhaustion and stress and had to sit out a show in Chicago much to the disappointment of thousands of fans.
Bow Wow releases a new album tomorrow Face Off, the sixth studio project for the twenty year old rapper who was discovered by mogul Jermain Dupri.
Kanye West to work with Madonna
Kanye West will be a guest on Madonna's new album Licorice, her last under her 26 year contract with Warner Brothers. The track is called The Beat Goes On and it has also been reported that Kanye West is not the only Hip-Hop producer present on the project. There have been rumors that Pharrell Williams will also be working on the new album.
Her last album Confessions of a Dance floor sold over 8 million copies worldwide.
