The law would insist upon medical clearance from a licenced doctor before a person was to proceed with cosmetic surgery.The law is being pushed by Assemblywoman Wilmer Carter who was approached on the matter by Yolanda Anderson, the niece of Dr West who died in December of last year due to complications stemming from plastic surgery.
